Players from the Southeast got out over the weekend visiting campuses in the SEC, ACC, Big Ten and Conference USA. Kyeaure Maglorie made the most of the day visiting Middle Tennessee and later in the day Vanderbilt.

Christopher Pearson – Samford vs. Florida

“It was great – the love the fans have and the energy in the stadium in general. It was a great vibe! The place can get loud, and that’s what I like. The coaches were cool. When I was talking to the recruiters Mrs. Lee Davis and Chase Clark we had great conversations. They asked me what I wanted play. They suggested defense and that I could have a package in their offense.”

Amad Moten – Samford vs. Florida

“It was crazy – it was good. I went up to coach (Dan) Mullen’s office. He talked to my mom and he offered me.”

Debron Gatling – Miami vs. Florida State

“The coaches were all cool and good people to be around. The fans were loud and exciting. I love the atmosphere.”

Drew Pickett – Maryland vs. Michigan State

“On my visit to Michigan State, I got to sit down and talk with some of the coaches. It meant a lot that I got to have a face-to-face conversation with them. The fans were great as well. It seemed like they take game-day seriously. Things like that can change the atmosphere drastically.”

Kyeaure Maglorie – FIU vs. Middle Tennessee

“Walking into MTSU, there was a welcoming vibe. They knew how to make their recruits feel very comfortable. I first spoke with coach Eli Miller, who is an honest and straightforward guy. He definitely fueled the fire of my interest in MTSU, and he spoke very highly of the team and coaching staff. I then conversed with coach Kenneth Gilstrap, who gave a great vibe and made me feel I could fit right into his program of DBs.”

Kyeaure Maglorie – Kentucky vs. Vanderbilt

“Later in the day at Vanderbilt, we walked into their massive indoor facility which was set up astoundingly for the recruits. I really enjoyed my discussion with the coaching staff, especially coach Lamar Morgan, who I spent the most time with. We discussed schemes, what he’s looking for in corners and how my attributes would fit in. After getting to walk around campus, I can say for sure Vandy’s got some good people in its area and an amazing fanbase. I had a great visit!”
